Norman H. Rappaport, MD, FACS, is a certified cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon who is known for his meticulous attention to detail and natural-looking results.
“People today are becoming more accepting of the ‘self-indulgence’ of plastic surgery,” says Dr. Rappaport. “Women and men who want to look as good as they feel now have the opportunity.”
Patients appreciate Dr. Rappaport’s thorough approach, taking as much time as they need to answer questions, devise and implement a personalized plan and give each patient an improved appearance that brings out her or his best features.
Dr. Rappaport’s background as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) led to his interest in plastic surgery and child deformities, and he went on to perform cleft lip and palate surgeries as a volunteer surgeon on overseas missions. His extensive clinical background also includes advanced training in craniofacial surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Sick Children’s Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Rappaport completed his plastic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and general surgery training at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pa after earning his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia.
In 1985, Dr. Rappaport established the Houston Center for Plastic Surgery. His offices in the heart of the Texas Medical Center have grown to include SUBTLchanges,® a skin rejuvenation center to offer patients a continuum of clinical skin care for optimal post-surgery results.
The Houston Center for Plastic Surgery continues to be an outstanding facility for surgical and non-surgical procedures thanks to the care and expertise of Dr. Rappaport.
