Yes, we have Obagi!
“I heard Obagi® is off the market—is that true?” a concerned caller recently asked.
“No,” says licensed aesthetician Marla Cook. “However, you may have heard about skin product formulations being changed slightly due to Texas regulations regarding hydroquinone.
“We now carry Obagi’s new ‘Fx’ programs, including the Nu-Derm Fx system,” Marla explains. “This formulation replaces hydroquinone with a new, more gentle formulation containing arbutin.”
What is arbutin?
“Arbutin is a natural extract of plants such as bearberry, pomegranates and pears,” says Marla. “This ingredient made its debut more than 40 years ago, and has been shown to improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin.
“Unlike products containing hydroquinone, you can use arbutin formulations forever,” Marla explains, “so they’re great for maintenance. And arbutin is a wonderful antioxidant, protecting your skin from the destructive effects of free-radical damage.”
Obagi’s Nu-Derm Fx system has been used in Canada and Europe for four years with great success. “This system changes the way your skin repairs and rejuvenates itself,” says Marla. Nu-Derm Fx:
- Contains a natural, effective skin-brightening agent
- Is clinically proven to improve the signs of aging
- Gives all skin types a fresh, new glow
Obagi-C Fx is the ultimate vitamin C system
If you want the benefits of arbutin plus the advantages of vitamin C, the Obagi-C Fx system provides day and night skin rejuvenation.
“You won’t find vitamin C skin protection like this over the counter,” says Marla. “Obagi-C Fx works from the cellular level up to the skin’s surface—and even helps protect against future skin damage.”
Improve your skin instantly with Obagi Blue Peel Radiance
Want tighter, smoother, brighter-looking skin in just minutes? “Obagi Blue Peel Radiance offers radiant results with virtually no downtime,” says Marla.
“This is a great product if you have sun damage and want to improve your skin’s tone and texture,” she explains. “It may also be beneficial if you have darker skin with pigmentary changes. A series of four to six peels gives the best overall results.”
