Who is a candidate?
Individuals who have lost weight and who have undergone appropriate hematologic and metabolic workups that would clear them for the procedures.
What procedures constitute body contouring?
Bilateral arm reductions or lift correct so-called bat wing appearance of the skin between the axilla and the elbow.
Bilateral breast augmentation, reduction and or bilateral mastopexy or breast lift are common. For many women and some men, volume addition and reshaping is needed.
Tummy Tuck or Abdominoplasty may require extension into the flanks and lower back can occasionally a total circumferential removal of a band of skin to address the folds of skin that develop when massive amounts of weight are lost.
Lower Body Lift/Belt Lipectomy can be thought of as a facelift for your trunk region. This procedure is tailored to those who not only have excess skin in the abdominal area but sagging skin around their torso.
